Sweet Sunshine Motif! (Free!)

I love Motifs. 

They're so quick,

pretty,

versatile,

and fun. 

I  worked it up on a whim and fell in love with it's sweet sunshine-y-ness and wanted to share the love with you!

So,

with no further ado,

I present:

Sweet Sunshine Motif

Rnd 1- Ch4, join with sl st to 1st chain. Ch3 (counts as first dc, ch1), *dc, ch1 * 11 times around (12 dc). Join with sl st to 2nd ch of initial ch3.

Rnd 2- Sl st into ch-sp. Ch4 (counts as dc, ch2), *dc, ch2 * in each ch-sp around (12 dc). Join with sl st to 2nd ch of initial ch4.

Rnd 3- Sl st into ch-sp. Ch2 (counts as dc), 3 dc in ch sp. *sc in dc of prev row, 4dc in ch-sp * around. Join with sl st to 2nd ch of initial ch2. 

Rnd 4- Sl st into next dc and then into sp between that dc and the next. *Ch 5, sl st between each 2nd & 3rd dc of prev row * around (12 ch5 loops). Join w/ sl st to first sl st of round. 

Rnd 5- In each ch5 loop work: *sc, hdc, dc, ch2, dc, hdc, sc *. Join w/ sl st to first sc. 

Fasten off, weave in ends.
